Originally from Southern California, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan before moving to Calaveras County in 2021. I love the area and am beyond pleased to be working in a small, dynamic investment services firm.
Similarly to Sabrina, financial advising wasn't always the plan I had for myself. My professional background is mostly in journalism, network engineering, and student development in higher education. I studied political science and technical writing as an undergraduate and public administration as a graduate student, thinking I would eventually find work as an academic or university administrator.
However, after being brought on as Sabrina’s client services representative, I found the world of financial planning and investment services to be fascinating and deeply engrossing. I've enjoyed the work so much that I earned my securities registrations and now work with Sabrina as an investment advisor.
My favorite part of my job is meeting and learning about our clients. Our work offers a unique opportunity to learn about our clients’ goals, plans, concerns, and triumphs in a way that makes the former reporter in me smile.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually spending time with family or exploring the beautiful region we live in on a hike or bike ride.
