Sabrina Julian Investment Services is my pride and joy. I founded my firm in 2006 with the goal to help others achieve financial independence and stability. Growing up, I always loved solving puzzles. Every client who comes to me has their own unique needs and goals, and building the perfect financial plan for them is like solving a puzzle for me. Every opportunity to tackle a financial problem or adapt a plan to fit changing needs is exciting and fulfilling.
I didn’t always plan to be a financial advisor. I studied international relations, and assumed I would put my love of languages and traveling to work as a diplomat, but fate had other plans. Quite by accident, I found a job at an investment management firm, and soon found that my lifelong love for math and puzzles fit perfectly with the industry.
I officially entered the financial world in 1994. I worked for other financial firms, learning the ins and outs of the industry until I finally decided to build my own independent practice in 2006. I wanted the opportunity to achieve the same thing I helped my clients achieve—financial independence and the confidence to take control of my future. The same year I started Sabrina Julian Investment Services, I was so proud to be named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” business owners of 2006 by the San Francisco East Bay Business Times.
I provide all of the financial planning and investment advisory services to my clients. As much as I enjoy solving the financial puzzles every client brings to me, speaking with people and getting to know them on a personal basis is what truly brings me joy. I’m especially passionate about helping women achieve financial independence and giving them the confidence to make financial decisions for their futures.
I grew up in Moraga, California, and would take long visits to my mother’s hometown in Argentina every few years. My father’s work also took us to London, England, and throughout Europe and North Africa. After many years back in the Bay Area, I moved east and settled down in the beautiful, quaint town of Murphys. I live in a log cabin that my husband and I built, and maintain an office in the Bay Area to serve our clients better.
I was raised with a love of music and learned to play piano and flute, sang in many choirs, and performed in musical theater from a very young age. Though I don’t have the time to perform like I used to, I enjoy going to the theater as often as I can.
I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, with a year at Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid, Spain. I hold a dual BA in International Relations and Spanish Language & Literature, and I am proud to use those skills to serve our Hispanic community. I also hold my Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, and am an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and Investment Advisor Representative.
